The Travel Scooter folds and unfolds as quick and easy as an umbrella and it travels with you on the plane, in the car or on the boat. It weighs only 30 pounds with the battery removed, making it easy for one person to put into a car or into it's own carrying bag. The Travel Scooter was designed for  a carrying capacity of 320 pounds on the seat (however we know of one person who weighs 350 owning one and is very happy with it) and 30 pounds of luggage on the frame. The Travel Scooter is the perfect choice for people with limited mobility.  The Travel Scooter is designed for people who have walking difficulties, but are otherwise still fairly mobile. It is not recommended for persons who are confined in a wheelchair, mentally disabled and/or in need of constant personal care. The Travel Scooter is narrow enough to fit through the cabin door of a Cruise Ship.

With a 330 pound load, the distance was 5.5 miles. With these parameters, the distance, with different loads, can be estimated accordingly.   Because of the lightweight design and easy maneuverablility, the TravelScoot does not have a reverse function.
